Hey there! I know it’s been a long time since I last posted here, but good news: I’m a junior now in the English Language Teaching Department. This year I have a class named “Current Issues in Teaching,” and remember how I was posting about technological tools that helped me to learn better? Well, it seems that I will be doing it from the teacher perspective now, and I’m going to be examining how language teachers can create technology-enhanced classroom environments for better learning experiences. This course offers insights about theories that are in line with the technological implementations in education, or more specifically, language education. We’ll discover many more tools and websites that can be used in and outside of the classroom and try to see their strengths as well as the weaknesses. Differently from last year, we’ll focus on flipped learning, which I don’t really like (wish me luck), and augmented and virtual realities besides artificial intelligence. I love using advanced technologies like these in a creative way, so I’m cool with the idea of this. We are kind of at the bridge that connects to a new era in learning and everything else, so it is vital to build a good repertoire, which makes me appreciate this class. Regardless of that, stay tuned to see if I can survive yet another semester! I’ll keep posting my journey here. See you soon, and I wish you a great day!
